Resistance conversion question

Hi,
Was wondering if any electronics tech could help me with a fuel gauge
resistance conversion. I have a fuel probe with a linear resistance
from 76 ohms Empty to 10 ohms full. The gauge however is looking for
a resistance of 233 ohms Empty to 33 ohms full. Is there anyway to
change the output of this fuel probe (by putting some type of device
inline with the output) to basically multiply its output by 3? I know
it wouldn't be exact but it would be sufficiently close for my
purposes...
Thanks in advance.
Chris

It is called a linear amplifier - or op amp. Gain of 3...
Radio shack has some - and some little booklets. Might be enough
to figure it out. Look before you buy. Ask questions as you go.
